1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets rules for messaging and Sendzoy platform usage. Violations may result in suspension.
2. Lawful messaging only
You may only contact people and organizations you are allowed to message. You must maintain appropriate consent/opt-in records for promotional or other regulated messaging and comply with Meta WhatsApp Business policies and applicable Indian law.
3. Prohibited content and practices
- Spam, purchased or scraped contact lists without lawful basis, or harassment.
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, malware distribution, or illegal goods/services promotion.
- Attempts to bypass STOP/opt-out, plan limits, messaging-balance charging, or security controls.
- Sharing WhatsApp credentials or API secrets outside authorized team members.
- Using the Platform to attack Meta infrastructure or other customers’ workspaces.
4. Meta policy enforcement
Meta may limit, review, or disable WhatsApp accounts, templates, or message types regardless of Platform settings. Those outcomes are Meta’s to decide. Platform Support can help interpret product logs but cannot force Meta approvals.
5. Opt-out respect
You must honor opt-outs recorded by the Platform (including keyword-based STOP handling) and any additional opt-out channels you operate outside the product.
6. Fair use of shared infrastructure
Do not overload queues or APIs beyond ordinary business use, scrape the service, or interfere with other tenants. Developer API use must stay within documented abilities and rate limits when enabled.
